Organza sashes really are the way to go. The bows have such a fun pep to them. The Satin sashes have more weight and end pulling the bow down. I love the way the organza bows poof up. Yes I said POOF, they have more spunk and pizzaz. Here is a beautiful gold organza sash on white chair covers.

Elegant Black and Ivory
I recently did a gorgeous wedding reception in ivory chair covers with a black organza sash. There were no other accent colors. Just simply black and ivory which in my opinion added to the elegance. Think black tie affair. There were 182 seat placements. It is amazing the transformation chair covers can create, from ordinary to chic. I only wish I had a before picture. Here are some picture from the ivory and black event with only chair covers. The tables were not set yet.
I am so happy I brought help, J did an amazing job. It can be very physical work and she was such a trooper. The next step is training J how to tie the bows. There is definitely a technique to get the bow to lay the right way with equal lengths and elegance, and with 182 to tie with adequate speed.

Why a chair cover business?
Income. I know there are other ways of making money. But I really enjoy this job. I get to stay home with my kids and teach them the value of a dollars and the importance of hard work, which it definitely is. I love seeing the finish product. To stand back and peer across the room at the difference in beauty. I also enjoy beautiful bows. While in high school I had the opportunity of working at Sees Candies and that is where I was trained in wrapping and bow tying. Not to mention sample tasting, and weight gaining.
